I’m a wife and mum to three busy boys.
I have always loved art and all things creative but my passion for photography really kicked off at high school where I spent most of my time in the darkroom. I went on to study a Bachelor of Design majoring in Photography at Massey University in Wellington, graduating with First Class Honours in 2011. I then went on to become a qualified Secondary School Teacher, teaching Visual Art and Photography for four years before having my first son.
I love the magic and unpredictability of kids. Having family photos with young children doesn’t need to be stressful at all! - I love to embrace the energy and chaos little people bring to a session. Each season of parenting is so fleeting, I believe its really important to capture as much of it as you can.
Newborn photography is one of my biggest passions. There is nothing sweeter than a fresh new baby wrapped up in its parents arms. The newborn stage passes so quickly and often in a blur, but you won’t regret making time to photograph your little bundle while they’re brand new.
